      General Info

      Operational since 1954, Cerebral Palsy Center is a welfare organization that offers services to adults and children affected with the chronic disorder. Located in Knoxville, Tenn., the center offers residential services, day services and family support services, including respite care, personal assistance, equipment, counseling, nursing needs, supplies and housing costs to individuals. Its aim is to assist individuals with cerebral palsy and other developmental disabilities to live meaningful lives. The sponsors of Cerebral Palsy Center include Permobil, Invacare, Sunrise Medical, Sampson Management and Pilot Corporation.

      The Cerebral Palsy Center holds an annual Christmas crafts sale usually the 1st Thursday of every December. This is a fantastic event to be be able to help someone. After going to these sales for at least 6 years, my wife and I are blessed more by the people at the Cerebral Palsy Center than we could ever bless them.John Knight
