Started in 1987, Baptist Eye Surgeons is a full-service ophthalmology clinic in Knoxville, Tenn. The American Board of Ophthalmology certifies Baptist s physicians. The clinic offers a wide range of medical and surgical eye care services for allergic dermatitis, astigmatism, blepharitis, branch vein occlusions, cataracts, central vein occlusion, chalazion, conjunctivitis, bacterial and viral, corneal abrasions and transplants, dermatochalasis and diabetic retinopathy. It also offers services for dry eyes, ectropion, entropion, floaters and flashes, fuchs dystrophy, glaucoma, herpes simplex eye disease, iritis, keratoconus, laser vision correction, migraine disorders, macular degeneration, pinguecula, presbyopia, pterygium, retinal tears and detachment, subconjuctival hemorrhage and trichiasis. Baptist Eye Surgeons has two additional facilities, Knoxville Eye Surgery Center and Tennessee Valley Laser Center and accepts insurances from Medicare, Medicaid and TennCare.
