Klamath Family Head Start is a program that serves children, preschoolers and families. The program works to promote family development, education and wellness in Klamath County in Oregon. It administers a fatherhood program that focuses on the increase of male involvement in children s lives and communities, as well as provides educational support, guidance, career and employment options. Klamath Family Head Start also operates support groups for men. It manages a motherhood program that works to encourage women to be primary educators for their children, as well as promotes positive interaction. In addition, Klamath Family Head Start serves more than 350 children annually.
