Founded in 1971, Adelphoi Village is a private nonprofit agency that provides programs and services to youths in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, New York and Maryland. Headquartered in Latrobe, Pa., the agency operates various residential, foster care and other community programs. Adelphoi Village serves more than 2,000 youths every year in partnership with juvenile probation offices and children and youth agencies. It has accreditation as a behavioral health care agency from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). The agency provides diagnostic services for youths, including psychological, psychiatric, educational, substance abuse and sexuality assessments. Adelphoi Village also provides adoption, independent living and alternative education services.
