The Osceola County Probation Division provides supervision services for individuals placed on probation by the judiciary. Located in Kissimmee, Fla., the division also offers support services to individuals who complete their probation terms. The Osceola County Probation Division is a part of the Osceola County Department of Corrections, which oversees and supervises the release of low-risk defendants who have been awaiting trials. The department also promotes public safety, as well as offers counseling services. It maintains a correctional facility that provides health care, food assistance and treatment services to its residents. The Osceola County Department of Corrections has a staff of more than 300 employees. The department operates through public safety and pretrial release divisions.
