      Focal Point Church actually began as two separate church plants in the late 1990's (Family Life Church & Hunter's Creek Community Church). Both churches were called to reach the South Orlando/Kissimmee area. Then in the summer of 2009 God began to reveal His desire for the two churches to work even meet together on a regular basis to the point that both church's leadership teams knew that this was more than a short season of connection as they both sought God.After months of prayer, retreats and seeking God, we officially met as a combined church for the first time on January 11, 2010 as a new body... Focal Point Church.The core values of our church have been shaped by our history. Both churches that merged together had different gifts that God combined to make, what we consider, the calling of Focal Point Church. We believe God merged together these six annointings into our church. > Evangelism: a burning heart for the lost. > Discipleship: developing disciples who make disciples. > Loving environment: an extraordinary lifestyle of love. > Spiritual depth: lives that actively pursue God. > Local missions: a passion for our community. > Global missions: a passion for the nations.These six giftings are so much a part of our culture that we even incorporated them into our logo. Each different color box represents one of the six things that God merged together when He created Focal Point Church.
