Founded in 1953, PCC Natural Markets is one of the largest consumer-owned natural food co-operatives in the United States. It has more than 40,000 members. PCC Natural Markets operates several stores and has received various awards and recognitions. Its stores sell meat, seafood, grocery items, deli and bakery products, beer and wines, food supplements, and health and body care products. Additionally, its stores provide gift cards, fresh produce, organic food and party platters. PCC Natural Markets offers cooking classes, food information and charitable donations. It supports the PCC Farmland Trust, which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving farmland and encouraging organic production. PCC Natural Markets maintains a presence in Kirkland, Wash.
