  Great Experience with this attorney. I contacted Schoen after I was arrested for a DUI charge in the Seattle area. I had never even had an interaction with a police officer other than a speeding ticket in my life (> 40y). I have an executive level software job in the Seattle area so this whole episode was quite the shock to me. I am 100% responsible for not keeping track of my drinking that evening but on the cab ride home that night after being arrested and booked I thought my life was about over. In some cases, it will be determined that the amount of force was warranted and charges will not be filed. However, if law enforcement determines that the amount of force was not justified, you could face charges for unlawful discharge of a firearm, felony assault, negligent homicide or murder.

  The consequences of a probation violation are intentionally severe. If convicted, you may face imprisonment, large fines, and other penalties, and it is in your best interests to immediately seek legal counsel. • Homicide
  While it may be your hope that you will never have to use it, it is your right to protect yourself and your family. Unfortunately, some people who use a firearm or other deadly force against an intruder are perceived to have used more force than was necessary for the situation – and ultimately face homicide charges.
• Restraining Order
  In many cases, this can lead to criminal charges for domestic violence and the imposition of a no-contact order or other form of restraining order.
• Manslaughter
  If you drive through a stop sign and injure someone in a car accident while you are sober, you may only receive a traffic infraction. However, if the state can prove that the accident was alcohol or drug-related, you can be charged with vehicular assault, which is a felony. A felony conviction can result in a mandatory prison sentence and a lifetime criminal record. If the person in the other vehicle died, you can be charged with vehicular homicide or manslaughter.
