In September 1994, Westgroup Partners changed its name to Noble House Hotels & Resorts to focus and expand on hotel and resort management and ownership. Westgroup Partners, formerly the Pacific Seaboard Group, was founded in September 1979 by Pat Colee to develop and manage commercial properties. Westgroup s specialty was in the recognition of undervalued real estate. Noble House specializes in independent properties that are in harmony with local culture and environment. Many of Noble House s acquisitions undergo limited to extensive renovations to enhance and restore the qualities that make each property unique. Often with the help of local artists, each hotel is decorated in the style and ambiance of the region in which it is located, such as the urban, mountain lodge atmosphere of Hotel Edgewater or the southwestern flair of Hotel Loretto or the SunBurst Resort. Headquartered in Bellevue, Wash., Noble House Hotels & Resorts is a privately owned company that employs nearly 2,000 people.
