For over 30 years, David Alskog’s practice has focused on public contract and construction law, school law, real estate and commercial litigation. David’s school and municipal law practice has allowed him to advise his clients concerning a broad range of issues including the Open Public Meetings Act, Public Records Act, student discipline, First Amendment and privacy rights, discipline of school district employees, land use and construction, contracts and transactions, procurement and purchasing, public bidding and bid documents, bid protest and claims analysis, and litigation supervision. As a lawyer to school districts and a public hospital district, Mr. Alskog has fostered close relationships with superintendents, board members, CEOs, and administrators, who often turn to him for counsel and advice on both business and legal matters in which thoughtful, sound judgment and a prompt response is often required. Mr. Alskog’s real estate and construction practice are devoted to the representation of owners, contractors and design professionals, developers, healthcare and business clients, and individuals in purchase and sale agreements, contracts, easements, leases, environmental issues, all aspects of the development of real property and day-to-day advice on the construction process.
