I have always known in my heart that I had a special calling to give massage. I knew it before I joined the Navy and after retirement. However for a few years afterwards I didn't think it a "real" job, so I continued down a different path. One random day, I opened a Massage Magazine and "ding" the light clicked on and I decided I needed to go to school and become licensed, to which I did, and here I am. I have been told by numerous clients/patients that I have a gift, and have had mostly successful outcomes (although there are the few that as much as I wish for better results, its not always the case without some consistency in visits). I like to blend relaxing touch with medical therapeutic and I use various techniques for the problem in hand, such as isolating muscles and then finding a treatment that works to release restrictions. I vary technique based upon concerns of clients/patients. Deep Tissue; Positional Release; Trigger Point/Accupressure; Myofascial Release; Manual Ligament Release; Swedish.
