Southeast Elementary School is governed by the Lenoir County Public Schools and provides education to more than 200 students. It provides gifted and talented and special education programs. The school has a parent-teacher association that helps in planning various art and talent programs. It provides various services for students with disabilities. The school offers an individual education plan for each student. It encourages students to involve in regular program during meals, recess, computer class, physical education and special activities. The school also provides students with physical, occupational and speech therapies. It offers various art and reading classes. The school offers a family literacy program for parents to participate in adult literacy and vocational education. Southeast Elementary School is located in Kinston, N.C.
