Reviews
He's taken care of my dog for approx. 6 years. Prices were always fair & quick appointments. But I have to say the reviews/comments referring to Kaufer as "cold" are 100% true! I consistently over-looked his cold demeanor & rudeness many times. Shrugged it off as a personality defect. However, he took it to another level today. At my dogs appointment Kaufer lost his patience. First due to the fact my dog didn't get on the scale quickly enough. Then because my dog got nervous & had an accident. Kaufer said it was unexceptable & he didn't see any purpose in treating my dog now. Said " he doesn't deal with this." My dog never had an accident like this at the vet before. I tried to explain the dog got nervous. Which was understandable due to him yelling "get on the scale" & dragging him onto it.He didn't want to hear anything. As the vet tech walked in Kaufer raised his voice & said "they are not allowed in here again". Going on to tell her "when they make their next appointment make them wait in the car"! This can't happen again. It was my dogs first & last accident at this office. They wouldn't even allow me to clean up the dog. I waited outside in the rain for a family member to show up with supplies to clean & transport him home. This vet doesn't like interacting with people or animals! Never again, after all these years!
