General Info

Dr. Rittenberg is a native of the Wyoming Valley and has been in practice at what is now Riverview Urologic Associates since 1987. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. After graduating from Wyoming Valley West in 1973, Dr. Rittenberg received a BA degree with honors from Wesleyan University in 1977. He earned his MD degree from Jefferson Medical College in 1981, and completed a residency in Urology at Thomas Jefferson University in 1987. He is the author of numerous articles in the Urologic literature and serves as a preceptor for numerous Urologic companies, teaching novel procedures to other urologists and staff. He has become recognized for his expertise in minimally invasive surgery, including endourology and robotics. Dr. Rittenberg lives with his wife and family in Shavertown.
