Every house is different and one system that is great for one house might not be good for another. We can walk you through the process to help you make the right decision for your home. For example, a newly constructed zero-carbon house, if built correctly, can be heated with “a candle.” Ok, it’s not an actual candle, but the heating load, as we call it, is minimal and the associated utilities costs would be quite small. However, that same modern home will have other needs such as the proper flow of fresh air. Because its construction is so tight it will likely need to have a heating recovery ventilator (HRV) installed. We guarantee our work and give 5-15% senior discounts depending on the job.
