The Child Care Council of Ulster County is a part of FAMILY of Woodstock, which is a nonprofit organization that offers a range of services for children and families. FAMILY of Woodstock provides shelter, emergency food pantry, advocacy, counseling, case management and referral services. The organization administers street outreach, domestic violence and child care programs. It maintains HIV/AIDS support groups that offer counseling, education, abstinence information, and treatment and testing services for individuals affected with AIDS. FAMILY of Woodstock also maintains a crisis help line that provides a variety of child care support services. Additionally, it provides services in the areas of domestic violence intervention, foster care, juvenile justice and substance abuse. FAMILY of Woodstock maintains a location in Kingston, N.Y.
