AM/PM Companions failed us miserably. I was looking for home-health care for my wife in my absence. I called and we set up an appointment for the nurse to come to our house to evaluate my wife's needs. We rushed home from another appointment and waited for the nurse, but she never came. When I called the office to find out why, I was told that it was too far in advance of my services dates to do an evaluation. Really? Why didn't they tell me this when I first called. I had told them the dates I wanted the services. The person told me that the nurse would phone me to set up an evaluation. He gave me an exact date and time for the call. Again, no one followed through. No call. I just gave up at that point and found another agency. I feel that AM/PM Companions cannot be relied upon.
