I got a delivery on 1/13/10 that was contaminated with water and killed my burner. I had done business with Ace for well over ten years and considered myself a good customer until this. They would not fess up and acept blame -they would not even send a tech over to investigate. They tried to blame it on me having a coffee can over the vent pipe- STUPID! I will be seeing them in court- mI have the water contaminated fuel drained and will present it as evidence. I do not recommend anybody use ace oil- they are your friend until they screw up and then they will fght you tooth and nail to not accept responsibility. Fuel oil is hydroscopic and will absorb water- it happens. If your delivery people cannot accept that they are not your friends. See you in court ace oil!

Fast, prompt service and friendly advice from the tech. But, in December '08, the price per gallon is more expensive than their competitors.

A customer learns from mistake...I was given a quote for an oil delivery, as a new customer...Upon my C.O.D. delivery, the driver charged me 8 cents more per gallon more than I was told by the company...When I called the company to find out why...They never returned my call...Four days later, I called back and was told the following:" You were quoted two weeks ago the amount and didn't bother locking in the amount"...I mentioned that I was not told to lock it in and didn't need the delivery for another two weeks...(I would of been more than willing to prepay the account, if I was informed with how it works)...I was told, "If you were quoted four years ago, should you still be paying that amount, too"...followed by slamming the phone up on my face...
