Kingston Elementary School, located in Kingston, Mich., provides an interactive learning environment for students. Governed by the Kingston Community Schools, it teaches classes from grades kindergarten through six, and enrolls more than 400 students. Its curriculum includes reading recovery, special education, art, band and music, social studies, math, English, health and physical education, and computer studies. Kingston Elementary School follows its curriculum to state standards and district guidelines. The school provides a wide range of programs and activities, including student of the month, honor roll, carnival, parent-teacher association, field trips, field day, Grandparents Day, and athletic activities. Kingston Elementary School has a parent institute, computer and science labs, media center, transportation department, cafeteria, and playgrounds.
