Based in King of Prussia, Pa., NovaCare Rehabilitation provides preventive and rehabilitative services and has a network of more than 400 locations in over 15 states. It provides physical therapy and athletic training services to more than 20 professional sports teams and over 300 universities, colleges and high schools throughout the United States. The organization offers various services, including occupational and aquatic therapies, geriatric and neurological rehabilitation, osteoporosis, sports performance programs, and work injury prevention and management. Its athletic training services include athletic event coverage, evaluation of injuries, weight certification, injury risk management, sports performance, body fat testing, and preseason screening and physical tests. NovaCare Rehabilitation is a division of Select Medical Corporation, which offers a variety of health care services and operates more than 600 specialty hospitals and outpatient rehabilitation clinics. It also provides medical rehabilitation services on a contract basis at nursing homes, assisted living and senior care centers, hospitals, schools and private homes.
