The Ontario Hardwood Company of Keysville, Va. produces 12 million board feet of dried lumber per year. Founded in 1977, it is a manufacturer of grade hardwood lumber. It specializes in green and kiln dried ash, maple, poplar, red oak, white oak and cypress. Its equipment includes a Rosser Head debarker, a Perceptron Laser scanning band headrig, a HiTech optimized edger and a Line Bar resaw. It also has eight SII dry kilns, each with 200,000 board feet capacity. Ontario is located 80 miles south west of Richmond, Va., 45 miles east of South Boston, Va., 75 miles south east of Lynchburg, Va., and 90 miles north of Raleigh, N.C.
