So glad that I had a great experience at the Oppenheimer Eye Clinic given that my eye was so awful! I went to the eye doctor for an emergency visit while on vacation Oct 2013 and everyone there was wonderful! The front desk staff was very helpful with helping me to get a last minute appointment, figuring out my insurance information (I didn't bring my insurance card on vacation- lessen learned) and even calling me a cab after my appointment since my cell had died. Both Dr's checked my eyes to make sure they had the correct diagnosis and they even helped me find a doctor near my home for a follow-up visit after my vacation. I wish every doctor showed as much patient care as this eye clinic does! Thanks again to everyone at the Oppenheimer Eye Clinic! Eye problems can be very scary but you all helped me feel much more at ease and I'm glad I came to get checked!

Friday morning I woke with pain and swelling in my right eye. Being new to the area I didn't know where to go for help. I tried getting an appointment with the local doctors but was told there would be a long wait of several days. I went to the Urgent Care Center, the only on the island and they were closed. Can you imagine? I can't go to work and care for patients with an infected eye. I remembered during orientation at the hospital that Dr. Oppenheimer OD was the only place we could go with our insurance, so I jumped in my car and headed out. I was greeted politely and with respect and when I told them of my dilemma they added me to the list of patients to be seen. Dr. Oppenheimer examined me and gave a Rx. I was home, with the medication, within an hour. Dr. Oppenheimer and his staff are professional and caring, I recommend going to see him for all your eye care needs. My eye is getting better, thank God, and I owe it to Dr. Oppenheimer and the Oppenheimer Eye ClinicG. Richardson
