Reviews
I have stayed at the mansion many times and always requested the same room at the front of the house looking onto Caroline Street. On our last trip our room was given to someone else before we arrived. There was no explanation and we were put into a room above the kitchen where we would smell cheese at night upon entering our room and without AC or cross ventilation the room was excessively hot. In the morning the noise of plates, and silverware being sorted would awake us. Not a very good experience. The Manager never contacted us as we had requested after being placed in the wrong room. We left a note for the owner and never heard back. So needless to say we no longer feel welcome at the inn. It is a shame that the staff and owner have become so indifferent to their guests.
