Provided by YP.comI had a two page list of items I needed from the lumber department. I went to the counter and showed this man my list. This was the same man that also walked right passed me when I asked him for help on one of the isles and he just looked at me and kept walking. At the counter he told me to go get item numbers and then he would put it in computer and he would get my items. I told him this was not going to happen. I had a two page list and need help. After I got mad because he didn’t want to do his job a lady by the name of Bobbette helped me out. She knew I was mad and she knew (and he should have known) were all the items were. She went right to the items on my list, got the item numbers and was extremely knowledgeable, polite and helpful. There was a man in the door department that was also rude. The best help I have every gotten at Lowe’s was with a woman. I did talk to the manage about the man in the lumber department but I don’t know if he did anything about it or not. I have talked to several folks and they have told me they hated to go to Lowe’s because of the service. If it hadn’t been for Bobbette I would have talked to the manager and walked out. I spent a lot of money in there the last two weeks and have been in there for small orders before and have had the same problem. I may have to try Home Depot. There are a lot of people who needs work and WANTS to work. If you go to Lowe’s in Kerrville, store number 1560; ask for Bobbette if you need help. If you can’t get her tell them you want a woman to wait on you.
