Nick, the salesman/guy in charge, will come to your house to demonstrate the Rainbow. He'll do a great demonstration & the Rainbow gets the dust up very well. It is quite heavy to lift to change water, etc. but it does a very good job. It filters the air as well- a real bonus. I would give the Rainbow itself a 4- down 1 star only because it's heavy to lift to replace the water- so I wouldn't recommend for an elderly person but otherwise I would recommend it.

But my 1-star rating relates to the service or more accurately the lack of service I've received since buying it 1 1/2 years ago. Try to get service from Nick in Kernersville, well, good luck. There is only 1 gal to answer the phone. She is pleasant enough but never has any answers- she always says someone will call you back, but they almost never do.

As for attachments, most are great, but the $200 RainJet attachment is a joke. It leaked water the first 2 times I used it, so I took it in and waited. No one ever called to let me know anything. When I finally got in touch, I was told that it almost always leaks water; that's just the way it is. If your flooring is sensitive to water, that's a problem. I even spoke to the repairman who didn't think there was much he could do to improve it. I asked him if I got a lemon or if the entire RainJet attachment was a lemon. He said he'd talk to Nick. I'm still waiting to hear. So my conclusion is the RainJet is a worthless attachment.

Some of the other attachments for the Rainbow are very nice. The upholstery cleaning attachment, the big blue bag that you can put cushions in, etc. and have all the dust sucked out is very nice. I like the various small attachments for dusting, getting into corners, etc. that come with all Rainbows. They are very helpful to do a good job. I actually love my Rainbow & have encouraged others to buy.

But my advice is, if you like the Rainbow and want to buy one- STAY AWAY from this salesman. Though personable, he is a no-service dealer.
