work done Feb. 2013: take up tile in kitchen and lay laminate floor kitchen, foyer and small breakfast nook. On the 1st visit , Doug assessed the job and very thoroughly sized up the "challenges" in front of him (it's an old "added onto" house....nothing square, plumb or level!) He made a second visit to drop off samples from which to choose. He and his dad worked together to complete the job. There were a few scratches where the metal wheels of the old refrigerator had rolled across and I was dismayed at first, but decided they really were nothing to take issue with and the floor was gorgeous. Doug INSISTED on replacing the scratched boards making a fabulous job even better. He also cut down an outside door making it actually fit tighter / better than it had before. Doug and his dad could not have been nicer or more professional...and they CARED about the job. I would definitely hire them again and couldn't recommend them more highly !!
