Bridgeway is a nonprofit human service organization that was formed in 1993 by the merger of the McDonough County Rehabilitation Center (MCRC) and Spoon River Incorporated. It serves the residents of more than 10 counties in west-central Illinois and southeast Iowa. The organization provides behavioral health counseling, vocational training, substance abuse prevention and community employment solutions. Bridgeway also administers several vocational programs. It has served over 1,095,500 individuals. The organization also offers services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Its Bridgeway Training Services offers job opportunities and services, such as data entry, recycling, janitorial and metal fabrication. Bridgeway is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
