Established in 1954, Scott Molders Inc. is a provider of injection, compression and transfer molding of thermoset plastics. Located in Kent, Ohio, it specializes in the design and molding of parts. In addition to molding, the secondary operation of the company includes baking, drilling, tapping, machining and light painting. It makes use of equipment like 12 injection machines ranging from 75 to 400 tons and electronic preheaters, auxiliary power units, etc. Scott Molders Inc. has a 26,000 square foot manufacturing plant and 6,000 square feet of warehouse situated on 45 acres of land. The company operates with approximately 85 employees.
