Grewenow Elementary School enrolls more than 360 students in kindergarten through grade five. It provides a range of educational services for the intellectual, academic, social, emotional and physical development of children. The school s academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as language arts, social studies, art, music and physical education. It also offers several instructional programs that include general education development and special education. Grewenow Elementary School s campus includes a library, 30-station computer room, gymnasium, multipurpose room with a stage, and playground with exercise and recreational equipment. It involves students in various intramural activities, choir, winter carnivals, swimming, roller skating, and Battle of the Books, Read to Succeed and Book It programs. The school additionally offers before- and after-school day care. In addition, it has a parent-teacher association. Located in Kenosha, Wis., Grewenow Elementary School is a part of the Kenosha Unified School District.
