Roosevelt Middle School offers a range of academic and extracurricular activities to students. Its curriculum includes math, science, social studies, reading, English and physical education. The school also provides special education programs for students with learning disabilities. Roosevelt Middle School maintains a library and administers the Title I program. The school is a part of the Jefferson Parish Public School System, which is one of the largest districts in Louisiana. The school system operates more than 80 schools and has an enrollment of over 52,300 students. In addition, the Jefferson Parish Public School System maintains a staff of nearly 6,200 employees.
