General Info

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I received my graduate degree from the University of New England in Maine. I have been providing individual, group and family therapy for a number of years and enjoy helping individuals achieve the life that they desire. Difficulties face everyone on a daily basis. At times it deeply impacts us, leaving us anxious, depressed, and traumatized, but it doesn't have to remain that way. The interventions I utilize will help you process these effects and ground you in the present and provide you with the coping skills for an optimal life. I believe therapy should empower you and result in a more engaging sense of self. Hopefully bringing you healthier relationships and making you happier and healthier. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) processes past negative experiences so you can be in control of your emotions and behaviors, providing you a much more present and happier life. I also employ elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing during therapeutic sessions.
