Provided by YP.comIf you want to feel like you are cared about and not just another person, this is not a place to go. I have never dealt with an employment agency because I have work all of my adult life. I am in between jobs so I thought "let me give it a try." Labor Ready had a location that was not too far from where I live so I tried them first. I call the the branch to find out what I need to bring when I go there. I told the person I was going to head over to the branch and he stop me midway through my sentence and asked "for what?" . I was taken aback and also confused because why else would a person stop by an employment agency. So I said " I am looking for employment" He quickly rattled off that I needed to bring apply at a certain time and here were the days. I began to say I wanted to ask him some questions. He told me that he needed to put me on hold without ask if it was ok. I waited on until I heard a dial tone. He hung up on me. I call back to let him know that it was my first time dealing with an employment agency and he was extremely unprofessional. I ask for his supervisor's number and called him. When I call i was greeted by a a lady who seemed nice. I explained the what had happened and seem very apologetic. She explained the process and ask if I wanted to go to the branch I call prior. I said no I would rather go to her branch. I got to her branch the next day at 9am which I thought was the time she told me to come. I misunderstood the time was 9:30am. The person told me to wait or come back so I decided to come back. I got there at 9:25 and waited I saw the person who was suppose to help me walk in. The lady at the desk told her that I was waiting for her. She never said good morning or acknowledge that I was there. Even the supervisor I spoke to the day before never acknowledge me. I knew he was the supervisor because they said his name. I waited 15 minutes and decided I am not going to do business with this organization. I realized that the unprofessionalism is a culture of the organization. I found it sad there was a lack of customer service. Do waste your time. I would give them zero stars but the system won't let me.
