Shepherd of the Hill is a nonprofit health care facility and is located in Kendallville, Ind. It provides residential and health program options to elder citizens. It offers a range of services, such as nutritious meals, lounges, social services department, gift shop, laundry, restorative nursing program, resident meetings, beauty salon, barbershop and aviary services. It also provides treatment for Alzheimer disease and dementia. Additionally, it organizes a variety of activities for the residents, including games, hobbies, crafts, group activities, outings to local performances and informal fellowship. Shepherd of the Hill is licensed by the state of Indiana and is a part of Lutheran Homes. Founded in 1932, Lutheran Homes is an affiliated and recognized social ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America and the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
