The Kemp Fire Department offers a range of emergency assistance services. The department has been serving the residents and visitors of Kemp, Texas since 1926. It serves an area of more than 130 square miles with approximately 6000 residents. The department conducts a variety of fire suppression programs and rescue operations. The Kemp Fire Department also provides emergency medical and management services. In addition, it maintains generators and hydraulic rescue tools. The department has an ISO certification from the International Organization for the Standardization. The Kemp Fire Department employs a staff of firefighters and other support personnel, as well as volunteers.
