Founded in 1901, United States Steel Corporation manufactures a variety of steel sheets, tubular and tin products, and coke and taconite pellets. The company produces more than 26 million tons of raw steel annually. The company has various domestic primary steel operations facilities, such as Gary Works, Great Lakes Works, River Rouge, Mon Valley Works, Granite City Works, Fairfield Works and East Chicago Tin. United States Steel Corporation also operates Lorain Pipe Mills, a seamless tubular mill. The company serves several markets, such as automotive, construction, electrical, agricultural and production facilities. It has one of its facilities located in Keewatin, Minn.
