I am writing this review provisionally with the expectation that I will obtain my C of O. Mr.Lounder and associates are highly skilled and solve construction problems practically and easily. However, if you live in Keene, you must (and I can't stress this enough) do a certified survey and submit it with your building permit application, or risk having the City of Keen buildings Department reverse its permit down the road. Have a professional firm such as SVE Associates measure and calculate the setbacks, and be warned that corner properties are also subject to the supplemental regulations in section 5 that stipulates that for the purposes of setback calculations, the narrow end of the property will be considered the front of the house. On a single lot, that could rob you of 10 to 20 feet, and I urge anyone who owns such property to file for a ZBA exception before starting work. Also, have an architect submit construction plans with permit applications and get them date stamped.
