kHORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!VERY RUDE CHILDREN working in the front. What some owners do not understand is that the people in the front are the first impression of the customers. The food was ok and would return if the customer service wasn't so HORRIBLE. Very disrespectful Children that only job should be bussing the table are working with the public. I had to speak with them as if they were students in my class or my children about PROPER EDICT. If a costumer hands you their money to pay for their food and they have their had out to receive the change back. It is an absolute NO NO for you to then place the money under their hand on the counter. This was done to me twice. A young guy walked up and I ask for a manager, I was then told I would have to wait 3 hours because he was cooking.When I insisted on speaking with a manager I was told by the young guy, well I can just give you your money back because the kitchen is closed to you and he took my food. Then I informed him I paid for my food and that I would call the authorities because at this point I am the owner of the food. The first young girl walked up and apologized for the behavior of the other two and handed me my food back. At this point with the back and forth of my food it was very messy and leaking out of the container. This is not how a restaurant should conduct business.

I have a friend that loves liver and onions and this cafe is one of the few places that serves it. I much prefer the pasta dishes and the tomato soup was also very good. There is not alot of choices close to my sub divison so this was a lucky find for us. The help is always curteous and helpful.

This is a very good, privately owned home cooking, diner style restaurant. All of the food is very good but my favorite is their chicken fried steak.
