      TLC Dental Care is a general dentistry office in South Kansas City. The founding doctor, Karen Rethmeyer is a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry, LD Pankey and Peter Dawson trained. Both doctor and engineer, she graduated first in her dental class at UMKC School of Dentistry. TLC care includes: crown and bridge, implants, orthodontics, white fillings, dentures, partials, veneers, root canals, extractions, bite restoration and rehabilitation and dental pain management as well as preventative dentistry including: cleanings, deep cleanings, root planing, whitening, sealants, and bite guards.

      I was amazed by what dr karen can do. (she is a dentist with an engineering background). since i grind my teeth, my old dentist made me a bite guard...but it made my jaws hurt and my joints started popping. i knew i was getting worse instead of better. when i went to dr karen, she was able to work with my jaw's natural bite and transform the bite guard into a perfect bite-pain is gone, popping is almost gone. now i can rest without hurting myself!
