Established in 1925, North Kansas City High School serves the educational needs of students in North Kansas City, Mo. It offers academic programs to students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes fine and performing arts, English, foreign language, math, science, social studies, and physical education and health. Its library provides various resources, such as books, magazines, encyclopedias and newspapers. Its counseling department assists in finding information about college preparation, course selections, scholarships, financial aid, standardized tests and alternative learning experiences. It offers various sports activities, such as football, volleyball, soccer, cross country, tennis, golf, softball, swimming, wrestling, baseball and track. It has various groups, such as orchestra, North Town Theatre Association and North Kansas City Harmonaires.
