Lakeview Middle School is operated by the Park Hill School District, and is located in Kansas City, Mo. It offers academic programs in language arts, mathematics, sciences, social science and economics. Its bridges program offer students with challenging assignments to supplement and expand regular classroom activities and stress on personal and social development. Its literacy classes offer reading improvement in the areas, such as fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, motivation and higher level thinking skills. It assesses students through classroom observation, work samples, reading counts quizzes, as well as other standard quizzes and tests. Its library media assists students by providing opportunities to enhance information skills, reading guidance and literature appreciation. Its guidance program assists students with problems and aids in constructive planning of high school programs.
