GCI, also known as Guadalupe Centers, is a full-service social agency that offers childhood, secondary and adult educational programs for students of grades kindergarten through 12. It provides medical services for substance abuse, teenage pregnancy, detoxification, case management and bilingual diseases. The agency promotes Latino cultural enrichment events, as well as sponsors social activities for various communities. In addition, GCI operates a community affairs department that features job placement assistance, educational articles, information on events, referrals for vocational training and assessments. It also offers financial services such as savings, money orders and auto and personal loans through third-party lending institutions. The agency organizes several social events.
