I've been shopping here for several years. Overall, the prices are quite competitive. As with all grocers some things run a bit higher and others are generally less expensive. The staff is always willing to help you out, in any way they can. Though a bit smaller than many grocery stores. They still manage to keep a good variety of both name brands as well as store or value brands. They do have a good spirits department where you can find most popular brands o liquor. At average prices. If you watch the ad sheets. You can often find excellent bargains on all types of products. By selective shopping, I generally save 25-40% off of their regalar prices. I've seldom had problems with items not ringing up at the posted or advertised prices. If an error is made. They have no problem with correcting it. If they have accidentally left an old sale price on an item. They don't make a big deal about honoring the lowest price shown on the product. Then they're prompt about correcting the problem. In order to prevent further errors. Despite having a moderately high turnover in staffing. Their employees are always courteous, polite friendly and helpful. One of the few smaller grocery stores left in the area. Their location is great for people in the surrounding areas. Being right off of I35 & Choteau trafficway they are handy for both driving and non-driving customers. I believe that there is also a Metro Bus stop very near the Choteau crossings shopping center. With 3-4 restrants nearby, a Radio Shack, Target department store. Which includes a full CVS Drugstore inside, and numerous other stores and services close. It's location is great. Taking the kids to the skating rink and need to get some shopping done while they are skating. The parking lot adjoins Winnwood Skate Center. My only complaint is that often they don't order enough of their sale items and frequently run out before their next delivery. But often you may get a rain check or they will substitute another item of similar quality in case the sale item is sold out. But overall I would give Festival Foods a 5 star rating for friendliness courtesy and access.. and a 4 star rating for selection, quality and pricing!!!

This store WAS a very nice store. It has gone downhill. It looks like it is closing. The cashiers look miserable and there is a lot of change in personnel. Their produce dept is horrible, with shoddy produce. They seem to only have one English speaking employee there, and where he is nice and helpful, he's not there often. The deli used to have excellent food, but it has gone downhill in quality. It is actually gross. The meat dept still has good meat....but not a lot of selection. Again it's like they are going out of biz. The dairy dept is ok, but I have gotten stinky cartons, and sour milk. I have also seen moldy cheese. Nice liquor dept, you can tell where this stores priorities are. I have further had my shopping experience ruined by the lousy attitude of the management. Very cocky and rude. I am reviewing it here, and warning my friends and relatives away. There are other options out there! This store is no longer a one stop grocery store.
