He is also a mediator for the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri. deVries’ primary focus is real estate and construction litigation, but he has successfully handled a growing number of general business disputes and injury cases over the past several years. His practice is primarily focused in the areas of Real Estate (transactions, litigation, business licenses, land use, and problem solving); and service to the Jackson County Circuit Court as a Receiver, Special Master, Court Appointed Sales Agent, and Condemnation Commissioner. In addition, deVries is a certified and state-qualified Mediator/Neutral in Jackson County, Missouri, and for the U.S. District Court in the Western District of Missouri with a specialty in resolving Real Estate and Construction Disputes, and on the KCMBA Qualified Mediator's List.
