I was referred to Clevenger detector sales by a friend and they helped me select a Garret Ace 250 and showed me how to use it and all the optional coils and accessories available plus great service after the sale

I bought a DFX metal detector from Clevenger 12 years ago. I was very satisfied. I've seen other small detector businesses grow because they have a simple (or extensive) website, but Clevenger doesn't even seem to have an email address. Not everyone uses Facebook. They are still missing the boat. I hate to see them not take advantage of this gigantic market.

I went to find a metal detector. I was looking for a Garett250. Mr Clevenger was very helpful. He took some time to give me some good advice on using my new detector. I would recommend this business to my friends and neighbors. I know if I have any trouble with my detector I can go back to get help. If your looking to get a detector check this place out.

My wife lost her wedding ring in our landscaping. We rented a metal detector from Clevenger to try to find it. Mr. Clevenger stayed open late on Thursday night so that we could get it that night. He walked us through all the bells and whistles to make sure we understood everything, rather than just taking the money and shooing us out the door. That would have been enough to write this review, but there's more.



On Saturday, Mr. Clevenger called to ask if we'd had any luck and to let us know that he was closed on Sunday. Very nice of him. When we returned the metal detector on Monday, we still hadn't found the ring. Mr. Clevenger refused to charge us for Sunday, since we would not have been able to return it. My mother-in-law was so impressed by his generosity, that she bought a detector from him on the spot. That's old school marketing; giving people great customer service. Besides, it's a cool little shop, with collectibles and coins, etc. Check it out if you're in the Gladstone area.

I purchased a metal detector from Mr. Clevenger. In addition to great service, Mr. Clevenger gave me a free lesson on it's use. I also joined the Gladstone metal metal detectors club. I plan on making additional purchases from Mr. Clevenger.
