Established in 1962, Antioch Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. Its curriculum includes programs in English, mathematics, social studies and science. The school additionally offers classes in health and physical education, art, music, reading, technology education and foreign languages. Antioch Middle School has counselors, media specialists, and speech and communication teachers on its staff. It also supports drama, jazz band and scrabble clubs. The school s drama club includes a variety of acting exercises, games, character development programs, scene building and problem-solving theater. In addition, it provides counseling services to students. Antioch Middle School is located in Kansas City, Mo., and is a part of North Kansas City Schools.
