Dr. Robert Winfield is certified by the American Board of Surgery with a subcertification in surgical critical care. He completed a fellowship at the University of California at San Diego. He earned his medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Florida. Dr. Winfield's mission is to deliver optimal and compassionate care to injured patents and to advance the field to determine what is optimal. He welcomes opportunities to care for patients in moments of great need, whether due to injury, acute illness or general surgical emergency.
