Washington High School, named after former United States president George Washington, offers educational instruction to students in grades nine through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,000 students and is a part of the Kansas City School District. It teaches various subjects, including English, Spanish, math, science, social studies, health education, computer science, music, fine arts and physical education. It also provides special education to students with special needs. The school has athletic teams in several sports, including basketball, wrestling, football, soccer, cross country and track and field. It also organizes various extracurricular activities and student clubs. Washington High School is located in Kansas City, Kan.
