Morris Elementary School, established in 1952, serves the educational needs of students in grades one through six. The school conducts classes in a variety of subjects, including English, math, science, music and physical education. It employs a staff of more than 30 teachers and paraprofessionals. Morris Elementary School has a parent-teacher association that supports various fundraising events and activities, as well as offers child development services. In addition, its cafeteria serves a variety of menu items for lunch, including pizzas, sandwiches, mozzarella cheese sticks and egg rolls. The school provides professional development and curriculum planning services. Located in Kansas City, Kan., Morris Elementary School is a part of Turner Unified School District 202, which Turner High School, Turner Middle School, Midland Trail Elementary and Oak Grove Elementary, as well as the Turner Early Learning Center.
