Matthew Ling, MD, pursued medicine because of the complex nature of the field. As an internal medicine physician, he enjoys the challenge of taking a symptom and figuring out the different possibilities that could be behind it, as well as solutions to fix the problem. Dr. Ling enjoys working with people and understanding where they are in their health and in life.Dr. Ling thinks it’s important to view the value of other people and understand the trials they’ve had to go through. He attributes his faith as a guiding principle in his life. When he’s not at work he can be found volunteering with his church and learning musical instruments, including piano, guitar and violin. He has two children who he enjoys spending time with.My goal is to understand patients and their families, along with their symptoms and goals, in order to determine the best possible care plan.
