Maple Street Magnet School for the Arts is an educational institution that offers learning opportunities for students in grades seven and eight. The school conducts classes in science, English, music, social studies, physical education and Spanish. Maple Street Magnet School for the Arts organizes festivals, and basketball and wrestling tournaments. The school operates several after-school clubs, as well as maintains a parent-teacher-student organization and library. Maple Street Magnet School for the Arts has a work force of more than 80 employees. The school provides various extracurricular activities, such as choir, theater and dance. Maple Street Magnet School for the Arts participates in the A+ Schools Program. The school s arts programs are supported by the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo.
